The Buddhist centre I attend is called Karma Ling, and is affiliated with the Tibetan Karma Kagyu lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism. Karma Ling was founded in the mid 1970's, and is under the overall spiritual direction of H. H. the Seventeenth  Karmapa Ugyen Tinley Dorje, and the XIIth Tai Situpa, Pema Dhonyö Nyinche. The Lama in residence is Lama Lodro, now in his seventies. They will have their own web site available soon, but in the meantime please phone Simon for details about attending the meditation evenings- most Tuesday nights from 7:30pm.
